Editing
Opening Sequence
We edited the opening sequence by using the Adobe products Premiere Pro and After Effects, as this software proved the most effective in allowing the creation of our product to a professional standard following the ideas from our original concept. This consisted of first editing our clips together in our planned order and then adding in the close-up shots at appropriate points to show match-on-action shots and consistency throughout our sequence. When we were happy with the sequencing of the clips, we then added in the text and doodles over the relevant clips and positioning them accordingly until they were presented the most effective manner and applied the chosen transitions. We then added in our soundtrack and matched our editing to suitable beats, increasing the pace of the sequence by changing the frame speed of the clips and adding zoom techniques. By correcting the scenes through the brighness, colour balance and levels we were able to create a generally brighter and bolder atmosphere, which is convention commonly used within real media texts aimed at similar target audiences. This procedure was used throughout our drafting process until we had created a finalised product that was suitable and effectively produced to a professional standard, which we were all happy to submit after our final feedback as we concluded that it had successfully met the brief we had been set.
To create our product we used the editing software, Adobe Photoshop CS6, as this allowed us to creatively produce our media text to a professional standard, and as we were already very familiar with this software we had an ease of use which we could use to further develop our skills with throughout. We set up a new document measured up to the correct size and added our chosen background of lined paper which we had edited to appear how we had intended before adding the images chosen from our photoshoots, which then had corrections made through the colour balance, contrast, brightness and levels to produce the most effective result. The pictures were then positioned as needed and the layout was edited (following our original design on Layout Designs), adding text, banners and doodles until we had created a suitable design. We then added effects to the desired items, such as adding glows, strokes and drop shadows in order to emphasise their appearance. This procedure was once again followed throughout the drafting process until we reached our final draft and received our last feedback which suggested we had created a successful product to a professional level that effectively met the brief and interested our target audience.

When creating this product we alsoo used the editing software, Adobe Photoshop CS6, as this once again allowed us to creatively produce our media text to a professional standard, and as we were already very familiar with this software we had an ease of use which we could use to further develop our skills with throughout. We set up the new document with the correct measurements and added our chosen background of lined paper again which we had edited to appear how we had intended before then adding the images chosen from our photoshoots and made corrections through the colour balance, contrast, brightness and levels to produce the most effective result. The items were then positioned as needed and the layout was edited (following our original design on Layout Designs), adding text, boxes and doodles until we had created a suitable design. We then added effects to the desired items, such as adding glows, strokes and drop shadows in order to emphasise their appearance. This procedure was yet again followed throughout the drafting process until we reached our final draft and received our last feedback which suggested we had created an effective product to a professional level that successfully met the brief.
